The most important part of fitting is product knowledge and by asking questions about the client's needs, we are able to advise on the correct fabrics and more importantly the fitting of the garment.

Fabrics are as important as correct fit. Here at John Harris Menswear we only work with natural fibres, all suits and business trouser are pure wool from the leading mills In Italy (LORO PIANA, REDA, BARBERIS, and LESSONA.) Pure Egyptian Cotton and Linen from the leading Japanese mills.

Having the correct size in stock is important and here we carry suit sizes from 46R to 66R with fractional sizes as well (Corto and Long fittings) with the business shirts 37cm to 51cm with extra long sleeves as well.

We carry the leading brands, which are made by the same name on the label (no licensed Products) CANTARELLI, FERRE, TREA, REMBRANDT, KRIZIA, VERSACE COLLECTION, BRANDO, G.F and ETON.

Finally to give you that perfect fit, we have our in-house tailor to fine tune your garments, however if you still find it hard to find exactly what you want in fabric, style or fit we can have a made to measure for you from New Zealand in 20 working days or from Cantarelli from Italy in 8 weeks with your own personal selected fabric from our huge selection.

To complete your wardrobe we have over 1000 ties from (VALENTINO, VERSACE, BOLGHERI, and RICCARDO FRANCELLI, and Italian made leather shoes, belts, socks and cuff links from England.

For most of us in today’s world time is precious and after we fit and dress you leave the rest to us and your wardrobe will be delivered to your office within 2 working days.

We are open 7 days Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Thursday 8.30 to 7.00pm, Saturday 8.30 to 4.00 pm and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm and after hours by appointment.

Our location is 2kms from the city at the intersection of Wickham Street and Breakfast Creek Road, 3 Montpelier Road, Newstead in the old Gould and Kennedy building with over 30 parking bays right out front .
